Darron Johnson - Custom 1500 LC
Just wanted to share an updated pics of my custom 1999 1500LC Intruder. I posted some pics to your site a year and a half ago, now I've added more to it as well as had it custom airbrushed in Daytona durning Bike Week 2000. I go everywhere with this bike, turning heads all the time. I attended Daytona Bike Week 2000, Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2000 (summer and fall rally) and Sturgis 2000 Bike Rally. Even the Harley Riders compliment this bike.
Since my original posting I have added Beach Style Handle bars (notice the wide grip), I had it air brushed with Bull Dogs and pin striping, I added the master rear brake cylinder chrome covers, on my custom air filter I have a bulldog etched in the chrome with the words "Big Dawg" next to it, I have red neon lights up under the imatation gas tank covers on each side, I added air horns for a fell of safety. Think that's about it for now.
I do appreciate looking at all the other bikes on this site and congradulate you on doing such a fine job. I'm off to Naples Italy the first week in April, going for 3 years, can't wait to break in some european roads. I just turned 20,000 miles on my bike. It's still going strong, except the battery, time to replace it :-) Hope to see the new pic on here soon. Take care and safe riding.
