I'm Rick Ashley, husband of Josie (39+), father of Amalia (8), Geoffrey (24), and Jonathan (21).  With Josie and Mali, I live in Scottsdale and Pinetop, Arizona (the desert of Scottsdale from late August through early May, and the high mountains of Pinetop from May through most of August).  I teach political science at Arizona State University.

I've owned my green and black '98 Legendary Classic for two-and-a-half years, and at 20,000 miles, I plan to keep it a while longer.

Josie, whom you see below at the Golden Aspen Rally in Ruidoso, New Mexico, has been riding with me as passenger for about a year.  After enjoying the Laughlin River Run last April, she's enjoyed it enough to take long-distance road trips.  Now she wants her own bike.

The summer is a great time to ride the White Mountains of Arizona.  So, if you're ever heading up that way, let us know.  Our Pinetop house has a bunk room that sleeps six: lots of room for guests.  Reach us at RKASHLEY@aol.com.
