Ingimundur

Update: I met Ingimundur the other day and he told me he has made some very interesting pipe alterations. What he did was... remove the big container or "box" that hangs down near the back tyre, and connect the pipes so the exhaust goes right through, without going into the box at all. Ok, in plain terms, it's what they call a "bypass", but in his case, he removed the box entirely... and now I would say the sound has improved dramatically. A better rumble when he gives it some juice...

Another alternative, if you don't want to buy new pipes, is to do as Saemundur did... (Basically, he drilled 6 big holes (I'd say half inch, at least!) in the plate inside the end of the pipe.)

Keeper's Note: This bro lives in Keflavik... That's near to where the NATO base and our International Airport is located in Iceland...

He rides with a club called FAFNIR MC, and the above picture is taken beside their clubhouse in Grindavik... I went to a bar-b-que there once... and will do so again... as soon as they organise it!

The bike to his left is mine... His is the one he's standing beside, of course! Like me, he's on a black and green '98 model, and if asked, he will say "I'm on the better looking of the two bikes!"

He's done some customising, now... Also, he was one of the first owners, here, to remove the passenger seat... and it's like a new bike! It gets a radical "classic" look... I'll try and get some more pictures for you of it this summer...

Snails MC Bike Day Pictures of Ingimundur's Intruder

Here you see Ingimundur's bike in good company. He's probably somewhere else having a free slice of Pizza. Are you getting hungry yet?

The Snails MC were enjoying free Pizza and Coke in Hveragerdi, on this day... We do drink and ride up here... but only if we're talking about the free Coke!

Cruisers have always been people magnets... The Intruder, being the widest cruiser on the market gives young people something to dream about owning in the future... and given the price, this is one dream they can afford to make come true.
