Here is a pic of my 1500 LC. It is a '99 model, with Cobra pipes, Jardine sissybar, lightbar, shorty windshield, and some additional chrome accessories.
It is the first big bike I have owned, having previously owned Triumph TR-6, BMW R-60, and most recently, a Yamaha Virago 1000, as well as a number of smaller bikes. Although not quite as nimble as the lighter bikes, the torque, appearance, and comfort make this my favorite.
I have added a pair of Tour Master slant bags since the picture, which are very attractive, and quite inexpensive.
Fuel mileage has been much better than I anticipated, delivering about 38 town, and 47 hwy. I do, however, take it pretty easy on the throttle! Plenty of power even without a lot of twist!
My only concern is that brake pad life seems to be a bit short. I have about 2700 miles on the bike, and I anticipate replacement in about another thousand miles.
